7 May 2016 14:00Of course it has failed. It has been tried dozens of times and failed every time! To try to separate the ideology from its implementation is dishonest. What an absurd comment.

But lucky for us, you are actually the fabled the one who knows how to do 'Communism' properly, Dear Leader!

7 May 2016 14:18Do you understand what an ideology is and how it should be separated from it's implementation in practice.

7 May 2016 14:20The ideology will never fail because ideology is purely theoretical. But 'in practice' this ideology HAS failed. And communism will always fail because humans are inherently competitive by their very DNA. Some more so than others. The best we can hope for is to temper the extremes of competition by promoting the importance of society.

That is just pedantry.
Each time communism is tried it fails. There is no reason to think that any future attempts will fare any better.
It is a good rule in life if an idea repeatedly fails in practice to regard it as a bad idea.

7 May 2016 15:50"competitive by their DNA": I agree with you but the problem lies in the way that competition is been directed. Could you imagine(actually you don't have to, it is already in front of our own eyes) every human in this planet trying to follow that kind of materialistic competition ? Not enough natural resources to satisfy each individual. The real competition should be directed towards the acquisition of knowledge, kindness.

7 May 2016 17:29If people are so fundamentally competitive then it's truely a miracle that early settlements actually turned into villages, some of some of these communities have survived for thousands of years. You obviously are thinking more in terms of supersized cities where citizens are crowded into confined spaces - there have been studies on the breakup of the social structure of rats when confined into small areas - highly competitive ' dog eat dog' environment ( for some reason this reminds me of New York).
